Boxxer™ 427

With the ONLY two year drive train warranty in the industry, the 427 is setting a new standard in performance and economy. The 427 runs with perfect alignment, less vibration, less noise, and less unwanted heat. The Boxxer 427 has two technologies (one already patented) that can’t be found on any other truckmount.

BUCS

Introducing the newly patented
BUCS™ Coupling System

The engine and vacuum blower of the 427 are joined by using a precision cast aluminum housing designed just for that purpose. The BUCS coupling works like an automobile engine that is bolted to the transmission making one rigid assembly.

  • 2 year drive train warranty, longer life without maintenance or failure
  • Coupling element can be serviced without disassembly or loosening of engine or blower
  • Perfect alignment means less vibration and noise
Precision-Cast Coupler
  • The only machine on the market with the patented BUCS™ Bolt-Up Coupling System, for smooth, reliable, efficient power transfer
ADC™ Heat Exchanger Control System
  • Top-End Heat Exchange system with ADC delivers heat up to 250°F
HydraMaster Premium Quality
  • Powered by a liquid-cooled 27 HP Briggs & Stratton™ workhorse engine
  • Premium Tri-Lobe Dominator Vacuum System provides maximum power and minimum maintenance
  • High-Volume, High Pressure 5.5 GPM water pump
  • Last-Step Chemical System uses no chemical through the water pump

Amazing Vacuum Performance

Although there are bigger blowers, few of them offer more airflow than the 427. By direct coupling the blower to the motor, we achieve a total transfer of power. No belts (which transfer 80% of power) to adjust or tighten. Our team of engineers has maximized the performance of our vacuum systems by carefully routing all the plumbing, and protecting them from lint and other debris contained in waste water.

Top Selling Points

  • Complete 2 year drive train warranty, the best warranty in the industry
  • 1200 PSI for tile cleaning
  • High volume output up to 250°F
  • Affordable 100 gallon recovery tank upgrade

Exceptional Heat

The Boxxer 427 offers exceptional heat in all cleaning situations, attaining a maximum temperature of 250°F. It will maintain 235°F cleaning solution temperatures under normal operating conditions. The efficiency of the patented ADC heating system allows it to attain maximum tempera-ture within two minutes from start up.

Value Added Engineering

The Boxxer 427 was specifically designed to provide maximum performance at a moderate cost. We have created a truckmount that can equal or exceed the performance of other machines that cost several thousand dollars more. One of the areas we focused on was making the machine easy to service. The taller design allows easy access to all components, to facilitate quick, easy service.

goldHydraMaster's Boxxer 427 in combination with the
RX-20 rotary extractor tool
and has earned the gold Seal of Approval for its extractor from the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI), signifying that it meets the highest standards for carpet cleaning effectiveness. Additionally, the Boxxer earned the Silver in combination with the Rotary DriMaster.

To qualify for the Seal of Approval, extractors must undergo a stringent testing process at an independent laboratory that measures three key performance criteria: amount of soil removed, amount of water left in the carpet sample and impact of the equipment on carpet fibers and appearance. Extractors that exceed average soil removal standards receive a bronze rating. Those achieving higher standards receive a silver rating, and those achieving the highest level of soil removal are awarded the gold level Seal of Approval.

The testing protocol for extractors uses sophisticated x-ray fluorescence (XRF) technology to measure the precise amount of soil removed from a carpet sample. XRF was developed by private industry and enhanced by NASA for the Space Shuttle program.

HydraMaster's gold-rated extractor was effective at recovering water from the carpet test sample and cleaning without damage to carpet fibers. These criteria are included because water and dirt left in a carpet negatively affect the appearance of the carpet, damage the fibers and create the potential for mold growth. Experience has also shown that some equipment can cause excessive wear on the carpet.
